Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work directly with production personnel to resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across various levels of the organization.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process technician role preferred.
• Basic understanding of metallurgy, mechanical properties, and manufacturing automation.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Associate degree or technical certification in engineering technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to production teams by troubleshooting equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
• Assist Process Engineers in implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives, including documenting findings and supporting workshop activities.
• Monitor and maintain tooling performance, identifying wear patterns and assisting in corrective actions to extend tool life and reduce operational costs.
• Support the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by contributing technical insights from frontline experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute manufacturing projects, ensuring technical standards are upheld and timelines are met.
• Promote and uphold safety and environmental compliance in daily operations, identifying and reporting potential hazards.
• Assist in the installation, calibration, and validation of production equipment and process controls to improve reliability, productivity, and safety.
• Provide input on equipment upgrades and purchases based on practical experience and operational needs, ensuring alignment with long‑term production goals.
