Job summary

Cindavi is hiring two Process Engineer positions in Douglas, Georgia. You will own an assigned process from lab through plant production, coordinating with operators and customers to deliver technically sound, well-documented execution.

From day one you’ll balance hands-on plant work with meetings and reporting to customers. Expect on-call duties nights/weekends, and limited travel. A strong communication culture supports rapid learning and ownership for new grads.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Recent graduates with internship or co-op experience are strongly encouraged to apply and are considered on equal footing.
• 0 to 5 years of process engineering, process development, or manufacturing experience.
• Solid applied engineering fundamentals: mass and energy balances, unit operations, and basic process economics.
• You should be genuinely comfortable with math and able to communicate with operators and customer leadership.
• Self-starter who takes instruction well, asks questions, and requires limited daily management.
• Willingness to be on call nights and weekends for your assigned process.
• MS, MBA, PhD, or PE welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an assigned process, including batch tracking, work instructions, day-to-day execution, and ensuring raw materials are on hand.
• Translate customer technology transfer into plant-scale processes across lab, kilo lab, and pilot plant stages.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and production on live process issues and practical procedures.
• Develop draft block flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and specifications for materials and samples.
• Build cost models for new processes and evaluate profitability before they reach the floor.
• Support Process Safety Management activities, hazard reviews, CPI practices, and regulatory work including PMN submissions.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers from floor operators to customer leadership.
