Job summary

Cindavi is seeking two Process Engineer seats to own an assigned chemical process end to end, from tech transfer to plant production. You will manage technical work, plant execution, materials, and customer reporting, with a third of time in meetings, a third building work instructions, and a third on the plant floor with operators.

Applicants should have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and 0–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering required or strongly encouraged for new graduates.
• 0 to 5 years of process engineering, process development, or manufacturing experience.
• Solid fundamentals: mass and energy balances, unit operations, and basic process economics. Comfortable with math.
• Strong communication skills to interact with shop floor operators and customer executives.
• Self-starter attitude with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an assigned process, including batch tracking, work instructions, day-to-day execution, and ensuring raw materials are on hand.
• Translate customer technology transfer packages into plant-scale processes through lab, kilo-lab, and pilot plant stages.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and production staff to troubleshoot live process issues and make procedures usable on the plant floor.
• Develop draft block flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and specifications for raw materials and in-process samples.
• Build cost models for new processes and assess profitability before deployment.
• Support Process Safety Management activities, process hazard reviews, CPI practices, and regulatory work including PMN submissions.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers from floor operators to customer leadership.
