Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Process Engineer to join our manufacturing facility near Chicago, with operations in Sioux City, IA. This hands-on role partners with production teams to troubleshoot process issues, analyze performance data, and implement improvements to quality, efficiency, and reliability.

The ideal candidate has a BS Chemical Engineering and at least 1 year in batch/continuous/liquid-process environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (BSCE) required.
Minimum of 1 year of professional engineering experience in batch, continuous, or liquid-process manufacturing.
Experience with P&IDs and process flow diagrams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
Working knowledge of statistics and data-analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and report key process parameters.
Read and interpret P&IDs and process flow diagrams for troubleshooting and improvements.
Audit processes, equipment operation, and SOPs.
Investigate deviations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Serve as a technical resource to production teams for process and equipment issues.
Propose modifications to improve quality, efficiency, and reliability.
