Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking a Process Control Engineer for hands-on plant automation in a growing manufacturing setting. You will cover PLC/SCADA, instrumentation, industrial networking, and control strategy development across the full lifecycle.

The role involves commissioning, startups, and capital projects with cross-functional collaboration to optimize processes and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
3+ years of process controls, automation, or related industrial experience.
Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley PLC platforms.
Experience programming, modifying, or troubleshooting PLC logic.
Experience working with SCADA/HMI systems.
Experience troubleshooting controls, instrumentation, or automated process equipment.

Responsibilities

Support, maintain, and improve plant PLC/SCADA and automation systems.
Program, modify, and troubleshoot Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley PLC systems using RSLogix/Studio 5000.
Work with ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming.
Develop and modify HMI/SCADA graphics using Ignition and/or GE iFix.
Troubleshoot controls, instrumentation, actuated valves, motors, and field equipment.
Support Ethernet-based industrial networks and communications infrastructure.
Partner with process engineering and operations to develop and improve control schemes and strategies.
Review PFDs, P&IDs, control narratives, and instrumentation diagrams.
