Dominion Energy Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations and maintenance activities at Clover Power Station in Clover, VA. The role offers hands-on exposure to multiple engineering disciplines and a pathway to learn from experienced professionals.

The intern will assist in inspections, data analysis, and project research, contributing to station reliability and performance while gaining insight into regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering bachelor's program with expected graduation in 2028 or 2029.
• Disciplines: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and apply engineering concepts.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a power generation environment.

Responsibilities

• Support operations and maintenance activities at Clover Power Station.
• Assist with equipment inspections and data collection.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and reliability efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering, environmental, safety, electrical and mechanical teams.
• Attend team meetings and support project research.
