Job summary

Attain Talent seeks a hands-on Platform Architect to help build AirHub, a modern platform replacing eleven legacy EPA systems. You’ll partner closely with our Solution Architecture Lead, serving as a deputy architect with a focus on data and migration.

On our small team, you’ll help turn architectural direction into working software and contribute wherever the work needs you. This is an opportunity for Senior, Staff, or Principal Engineers ready to move into architecture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex software and guiding technical decisions.
• Hands-on programming experience across services, APIs, databases, and automated testing.
• Ability to connect system design with implementation and explain tradeoffs.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL; involvement in data migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Support architectural direction with the Solution Architecture Lead, breaking work into deliverable increments.
• Stay close to code: build services and integrations, review changes, and help production deployments.
• Guide data and migration work: model data, define integration contracts, and plan migrations.
