Job summary

P&K Stone is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Mill Creek operation. This hands-on role requires balancing safety, production, quality, maintenance, and people to build a strong, accountable team in an aggregates environment.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in aggregates/mining and 3–5 years of leadership in plant operations, with hands-on experience in crushing, screening, conveying, and material handling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in aggregates/mining industries.
• 3–5 years of plant/operations leadership in aggregates.
• Hands-on experience with crushing, screening, conveying, and material handling.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality, and efficiency.
• Experience managing maintenance, downtime, and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the Mill Creek plant.
• Promote safety culture and MSHA compliance.
• Manage production to meet quality and customer requirements.
• Coach and develop plant staff and supervisors.
• Coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Monitor performance and drive efficiency and cost control.
• Maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards.
• Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and others to support operations.
• Address issues promptly and hold teams accountable for results.
• Foster safe, open communication and ownership of operations.
