Job summary

MFA Incorporated is seeking a General Manager for the Mid-Ozark location to oversee daily fertilizer blending operations and drive efficiency on-site. You will manage hands-on blending, inventory controls, and driver training while coordinating with the plant team and customers to meet schedules and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring experience in agriculture/fertilizer, strong organizational and safety leadership, and the ability to lift heavy loads as part of a small, hands-on

Qualifications

• Experience in the agriculture/fertilizer industry.
• Hands-on fertilizer blending experience (dry granular; liquid blending a plus).
• Ability to read and understand financial and inventory records.
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting 50–100 lbs.
• Availability for occasional weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations to maximize efficiency and savings.
• Communicate order status directly with customers.
• Blend and formulate fertilizer products to customer specs.
• Oversee inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure DOT drivers are trained and records updated.
• Provide daily performance feedback to the plant team.
• Supervise safety training and recordkeeping.
• Perform hands-on equipment operation and basic maintenance as needed.
