Job summary

ACH Food Companies, Inc. in Summit, Illinois seeks a hands-on Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of operating disciplines across the Argo facility.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and HR to drive safety, quality, reliability, cost, and productivity, guiding teams toward a disciplined future-state model on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience leading Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Excellence, or related transformation initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems and SAP is a plus.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, change-management, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads the plant Continuous Improvement strategy aligned with company objectives and plant priorities.
• Leads and implements CI initiatives to improve safety, quality, reliability, delivery, cost, productivity, and labor utilization.
• Partners with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and HR to align owners and allocate resources.
• Builds and sustains operating systems including daily management, standard work, visual controls, and performance reviews; uses Lean tools (5S, SMED, value stream mapping, A3).
• Leads complex cross-functional improvement projects from problem identification through ROI validation and sustained results.
