Job summary

Curia is seeking a Pilot Plant Technician in Springfield, MO to safely manufacture APIs, intermediates, and development materials in a cGMP environment. You will operate reactions, filtration, distillation, drying, milling, and material handling, documenting results and maintaining equipment per SOPs.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, meticulous documentation, and the ability to work independently or with a team within a fast-paced, 24/7 production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong reading, math, and comprehension to follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation per cGMP and data integrity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with procedures.
• Ability to complete safety, cGMP, training.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform manufacturing and Pilot Plant operations per SOPs and cGMP.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down Pilot Plant equipment (reactions, filtration, distillation, drying, milling).
• Record observations and parameters with data integrity.
• Clean and inspect equipment and processing areas per protocols.
• Maintain workflow and prioritize assigned work with supervision.
• Troubleshoot processing issues with CRD, Engineering, Maintenance, and QA teams.
• Provide hands-on training and knowledge sharing to peers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with cGMP and safety rules.
