remotepeople partners with a growing plaintiff's personal injury practice in Atlanta to identify their next Associate Attorney. This role offers direct client contact and real case responsibility early, with a clear path to managing a full caseload independently as you grow.

The attorney will handle cases from intake through resolution, negotiate with insurers, draft pleadings and discovery, and work closely with senior attorneys to develop strategy and pursue favorable outcomes.

Qualificações

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Georgia bar license.
• 2+ years of experience; first-year associates welcome.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking directly with clients and insurance representatives.
• Organized and able to manage multiple case files.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or litigation
• Communicate directly with clients throughout the life of their case
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and adjusters
• Prepare and respond to written discovery
• Draft demand letters, pleadings, and other case-related documents
• Evaluate case value and develop strategy with support from senior attorneys
• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed
