Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking engineers to support the construction and testing of Power Conversion Modules (PCMs) for COLUMBIA Class submarines. This role focuses on hands-on work in a shipyard environment on 2nd shift, contributing to a power distribution system that operates reliably.

You will develop troubleshooting strategies, write procedures, and collaborate with trades, waterfront personnel, and system owners.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering is required.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• 0–2 years post-graduate engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop troubleshooting strategies and procedures for shipyard execution.
• Support trades and waterfront personnel in installation and testing of PCMs.
• Coordinate with system owners and ship test organizations to align troubleshooting activities with schedule.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and work instructions.
• Communicate with shipyard personnel to resolve technical questions.
