Piatti Mill Valley is seeking a Prep Cook to make pasta, dough, and bread from scratch. We train you on our recipes and craft, with a focus on hand-made authenticity. Expect morning shifts, full- and part-time options, and a collaborative kitchen environment in Mill Valley.

You will build skills in pasta, dough, and bread, with strong knife work and efficient prep. We value pride in doing things right, organization, and a team-first attitude in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Solid knife skills for safe, efficient, and consistent cuts (dice, julienne, chiffonade, mince).
• Strong attention to detail and care to do things right.
• Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and keep pace in a busy kitchen.
• Team player who communicates clearly and helps teammates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh pasta dough, pizza dough, and bread to our recipes and standards (with full training provided)
• Prep, set up, and portion ingredients for your station and the line
• Follow recipes and specs closely so every dish tastes the way it should, every time
• Keep your station and equipment clean, organized, and food-safe
• Work alongside the culinary team to keep the kitchen running smoothly on busy days
