Job summary

The Tasting Kitchen in Los Angeles is seeking a Pasta Maker/Prep to produce fresh pasta and support daily kitchen production. You will follow recipes, shape doughs, and help ensure quality and consistency across all dishes.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about artisanal food. Responsibilities include operating pasta equipment, maintaining a clean workstation, and assisting with inventory and production planning while adhering to FIFO and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Pasta-making experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh and extruded pasta doughs and shapes according to recipes.
• Portion pasta fillings, sauces, and production ingredients.
• Operate pasta-making equipment and maintain sanitation of tools.
• Pack, label, and track internal production orders.
• Support daily food production, inventory, and production planning.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all products.
• Follow all food safety guidelines (FIFO, labeling, storage, etc.).
