Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Minden, LA is hiring a Construction Assembler to join our Fibrebond team. Core hours average 54 per week between 6 am and 4:30 pm, with overtime every other Saturday.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and prior experience in manufacturing or construction is preferred. You will read blueprints, cut wall paneling, install walls, ceilings and moldings, and help load components.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must reside within the 50-mile radius of Minden, LA facility; no relocation.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration status for this position.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine carpentry and structural placements.
• Cut wall paneling and other carpentry components using saws.
• Apply glue to plywood and install walls and floors per specifications.
• Install walls, ceilings, paneling, and moldings using adhesives, fasteners, and tools.
• Load and position wall panels and components during assembly.
• Perform insulation and cement tasks as required by the build process.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety procedures; keep area clean and orderly.
• Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions to leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through teamwork and participation.
