GRIT Staffing & HR Solutions in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Packaging Associate to support daily packaging operations by preparing, packing, labeling, and inspecting finished products while maintaining quality standards. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The position runs on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid vehicle, and prior experience in

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must have a personal vehicle.
Experience in manufacturing/packaging or food production preferred.
Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and sanitation preferred.
Ability to follow production schedules and packaging specifications.

Responsibilities

Package finished products according to production schedules and quality standards.
Apply labels, lot numbers, expiration dates, and packaging information accurately.
Inspect product appearance and packaging integrity before shipment.
Operate basic packaging machinery and report issues to supervisors.
Maintain packaging areas clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
Assist with packaging material counts and report shortages or damages.
Work with production and warehouse teams to meet daily goals.
