Job summary

GSM Outdoors is seeking a Product Development Mechanical Engineer to drive consumer product design from concept through production. You’ll work with Designers, Brand Managers, Project Managers, and manufacturing partners to meet consumer needs, brand goals, performance requirements, and cost targets.

The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, with experience solving problems, building prototypes, and translating concepts into manufacturable solutions for outdoor products.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in mechanical/product design for consumer products.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs and documentation for consumer products.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models, BOMs, and specs.
• Support prototyping, testing, and production releases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors.
