Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee building upkeep, budget, and vendor contracts for seven apartment communities in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. This hands-on role coordinates preventative and emergency maintenance, unit turnover, and work orders with the property management team.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, customer-service oriented, and able to work independently with residents including those with special needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Technical expertise in one or more building trades.
• Valid driver's license and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance functions, budget, and vendor contracts with property management.
• Coordinate preventative and emergency maintenance and work orders.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and ensure turnover timelines.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and supervise vendors.
