Zusammenfassung

Laborup is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a Nashville metal fabrication operation. This hands-on role focuses on verifying that parts and assemblies meet customer drawings, dimensions, specifications, and production requirements before leaving the shop.

You will inspect from blueprints and route sheets, use calipers, tape measures, and go/no-go gauges, and document any non-conforming parts. A background in metal fabrication is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting manufactured or fabricated parts.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience performing dimensional inspections.
• Comfortable using calipers, gauges, tape measures, and similar inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Aufgaben

• Inspect fabricated parts and assemblies against customer drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and route sheets.
• Perform visual and cosmetic inspection of finished components.
• Confirm all required production steps have been completed.
• Verify part markings are correct and complete.
• Ensure packaging meets customer requirements.
• Check inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated.
• Complete internal and external non-conformance reports when needed.
• Communicate quality issues with production and fabrication teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
