John W. McDougall Company, Inc. in Nashville, TN, is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector for our 1st Shift Operations. You will verify that production parts and assemblies meet job instructions, drawings, and specifications.

The role requires reading blueprints, using calipers, gauges and tape measures to verify dimensions, ensuring processes are complete, and keeping work area clean and organized.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years inspection experience.
• Able to read blue prints and verify dimensional data using various inspection equipment such as calipers, go/no-go gauges, tape measures, etc.
• Energetic and positive personality a must.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment a must.
• Physical conditioning to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure all production processes have been completed as required.

• Ensure packaging meets or exceeds the customer’s specifications.
• Ensure calibration of inspection tools and equipment is up-to-date.
• Complete internal and external non-conformance reports as required.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.

This person will be responsible for verifying that all production parts and assemblies are manufactured in accordance with job instructions and to customer provided drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:
