Job summary

Gray Media, Inc. is offering a fall 2026 Sales Training Program internship with WVLT in Knoxville, TN. This hands-on, part-time internship runs for 10 weeks and teaches fundamentals of media sales through practical assignments and coaching.

Interns learn to prospect, cold-call, create presentations, and support digital and broadcast sales strategies while working with senior Media Executives and Sales Leaders. Many interns become full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a college/university, preferably in your senior year.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• College student, seniors preferred, earning a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, or related fields, with a desire to get hands-on experience in the local media industry.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to prospect and identify new business opportunities
• Practice real cold calls (with coaching, not guesswork)
• Build client presentations and proposals
