DivIHN Integration Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to be stationed onsite in Wilmington, NC for a six-month program.

The role focuses on supporting the construction, installation, debugging and startup of equipment and automated systems on manufacturing floors. Public and private site work requires hands-on execution, supervision of techs, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and process engineering to deliver safe, on-time results.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with equipment using typical hand tools and measurement devices.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a team environment with safety focus.
• Understanding of process variables: flow, temperature, rate, pressure, level.
• Interprets drawings and schematics to aid troubleshooting and design.
• Strong communication and collaboration with IT, Mechanical, and Process engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical discipline support during construction, installation, debug, and startup of equipment and automated systems on site.
• Supervise and direct internal or contract engineers, maintenance, and trades during installation and modification work.
• Develop and follow project plans to achieve goals while adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
• Redline and modify installation checklists, machine part lists, and drawings as needed.
