Job summary

ITAC seeks an Electrical Engineer to provide electrical discipline support for construction, installation, and startup of systems on manufacturing sites. The role emphasizes hands-on work on the floor and leadership of techs and trades on-site at our Wilmington, NC client site.

The position is a full-time contract, estimated to last 1–2 years, with a strong focus on safety and on-time delivery. Typical base salary ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits and ESOP

Qualifications

BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent; 5+ years manufacturing or related experience.
Knowledge of power systems for 480VAC and below.
Interprets electrical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot.
Works with IT, Mechanical, and Process engineering to meet requirements.
Ability to work hands-on with equipment using common tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

Develop and use project plans and timelines to achieve goals while ensuring safety and quality.
Supervise internal or contract engineers and trades during installation and startup phases.
Interface with system integrators and machine builders for integrated process equipment.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting and direct teams to replace defective components.
Provide training on new installation procedures for successful execution.
Review and modify installation checklists and drawings as needed.
