Job summary

MACOM is seeking a Mechanical Product Engineering Intern in Lowell, MA to work with senior engineers on designing, building, testing, and evaluating fixtures for RF/microwave manufacturing and test. The 12-week internship offers hands-on experience, mentoring, and a chance to contribute to a real project.

You'll gain exposure to SolidWorks, 3D printing, fixture design and testing, while developing professional relationships and presenting at a poster session about your project.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum Junior grade level.
• SolidWorks experience preferred, other CAD software acceptable.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction given.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn.
