The successful candidate will teach and supervise introductory and advanced undergraduate labs, collaborate with course coordinators and staff, and contribute to safety, lab upkeep, and continuous improvement of instructional

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering by the start date.
• Experience in laboratory instruction and hands-on engineering labs.
• Ability to teach and supervise hands-on undergraduate lab experiences.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to safe, student-centered engineering education.

Responsibilities

• Teach, coordinate, or support hands-on undergraduate labs (structures & dynamics, materials, thermal-fluids, instrumentation, design).
• Teach undergraduate mechanical engineering or engineering science courses as needed.
• Develop, revise, and assess lab manuals, experiments, safety procedures, and project activities.
• Collaborate with faculty directors, coordinators, staff, and machine shop supervisor to ensure safety and equipment readiness.
• Mentor undergraduates in lab practice and工程 problem solving.
• Contribute to ABET-related assessment and curriculum coordination.
