TheMasonGroup is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to own the design and documentation of mechanical projects, from concept through production and testing. You will work across Sales, Drafting, Electrical, and Production to ensure manufacturability and performance.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of mechanical design experience, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD; Inventor preferred), and a solid foundation in machine design and power transmission.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong background in machine design and power transmission technologies.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, structural steel, welding, and shop fabrication.
• Understanding of materials, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and engineering principles.
• Experience with CAD drawings and tolerances.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Take ownership of engineering and design of assigned mechanical projects from concept to production.
• Review specifications for completeness, feasibility, and manufacturability.
• Perform engineering calculations to determine equipment requirements.
• Create layouts, sketches, detail drawings, assemblies, and 3D models.
• Coordinate with Drafting and Production to ensure accurate drawings and processes.
• Maintain BOMs and engineering documentation; specify components.
• Support Sales with technical information and customer questions.
• Provide assembly instructions and technical support on the shop floor.
