Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues under supervision.
  • Inspect equipment and vehicles for wear, damage or safety concerns.
  • Assist with disassembly, repair and reassembly of engines and transmissions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records and parts documentation.
  • Communicate status and needs to supervisors and team members.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and apprenticeship activities.
