Job summary

QPS, LLC is seeking a driven Mass Spectrometry Specialist to join our MSS team in Newark, DE. Ideal candidates are recent Biomedical or Electrical Engineering graduates with hands-on instrumentation experience and a passion for supporting preclinical and clinical research worldwide.

The role focuses on troubleshooting LC-MS/MS systems, performing maintenance and calibration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced bioanalytical environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, instrumentation, or integrated systems.
• Hands-on laboratory, capstone, internship, or co-op experience with analytical or biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair LC-MS/MS systems and associated bioanalytical instrumentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance qualification on LC-MS/MS and related systems.
• Support equipment validation and system performance verification.
• Install and configure new instrumentation.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables.
• Work with cross-functional scientific teams.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and high-performing laboratory environment.
