Job summary

SubSea Craft Limited in Virginia Beach, USA, seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to own the integration and system-level performance of vessel hardware, software, and mission systems across demanding customer deployments.

You will lead verification, testing, and fault diagnosis, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to safer, more reliable vessels while advancing data capture, configuration management, and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hardware integration and testing experience ideally within the marine sector.
• Experience with CAN bus and CANOpen/NMEA protocols.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, commission, test devices and subsystems.
• Develop and deploy hardware, software, networking solutions for vessels.
• Lead system integration, prototyping, verification and testing.
• Produce technical documentation for deployment.
• Support sea trials and validation in operating environments.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system-level faults.
