D2B Groups in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an Operations Trainer to take new hires from day one to fully qualified on the line. The role sits between HR and the plant floor and requires hands-on training, PPE floor presence, and system-based record keeping.

You will develop materials, manage the training matrix in the ERP, run onboarding, and partner with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance to close gaps. Strong Excel and SAP/ERP experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing with training, lead, or supervisory responsibility.
• Associate’s degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, operations management, business, HR, or related field.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint for building materials and tracking data.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience, SAP preferred, including electronic training records.
• Ability to train across levels on a production floor and in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver hands-on training for new hires, production associates, and team leaders.
• Train to standard work — processes, quality, equipment operation, and safety.
• Create materials: visual work instructions, presentations, and digital content.
• Own the training matrix — certifications and completion tracking inside the ERP.
• Run onboarding and cross-training to flex coverage across lines and shifts.
• Partner with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance to close training gaps.
• Coach in real time and report readiness to leadership.
• Support root cause analysis where training impacts quality.
• Keep activity compliant with OSHA, customer requirements, and IATF/ISO standards.
