Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead to provide frontline leadership across extrusion, press, slitting, and converting. You will coordinate daily production activities, support safety and quality performance, and work with operators, supervisors, maintenance, planning, and quality teams to maximize production while fostering a high-performance culture.

You will lead safety initiatives, provide hands-on coverage, coach team members, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous leadership experience or ability to coach and develop teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Independent and collaborative work style.
• Proficient with computer systems and MS Office.
• Ability to coordinate production across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities and coordinate with operations.
• Promote a safety-first culture across shifts.
• Coach and develop team members and drive performance.
• Collaborate with planning, quality, maintenance and other teams.
• Provide on-the-job training and monitor shift handoffs.
• Investigate safety incidents and quality concerns; support root cause actions.
• Monitor metrics and communicate results; drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with product safety, cleanliness and standards.
