Job summary

Roush is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician in the Livonia area to ensure reliable operation of production equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tooling and fixtures, with hands-on work across electrical and mechanical systems.

The role requires welding/light fabrication ability, tool proficiency, and adherence to safety standards, with occasional weekend overtime and cross-building travel in Livonia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing production experience.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial equipment maintenance.
• U.S. Person required under ITAR/EAR.
• Ability to diagnose and solve equipment issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willing to travel between Livonia buildings.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret technical documents including blueprints.
• Light fabrication and welding capabilities.
• Overtime availability including weekends.
• Must have own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance forms.
• Troubleshoot issues using precision test instruments and observations.
• Maintain manufacturing equipment, hand tools, fixtures and production tools.
• Repair equipment using hoists, cranes, forklift and hand/power tools.
• Fabricate production carts using available materials.
• Conserve maintenance resources and document results.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment per procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement projects.
• Assist with internal projects as needed.
