Job summary

Haworth is seeking paid Manufacturing Engineering Interns for our Holland, MI Wood Plant. This 12-week onsite summer program offers hands-on projects, exposure to manufacturing processes, and teamwork with experienced engineers.

You'll assist with updating lockout/tagout, yield optimization, quality and safety initiatives, and floor-level operations. Ideal candidates are pursuing Mech/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering, with junior status in Fall 2027, and able to work on-site May–August 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering with at least a junior status by Fall 2027.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Holland, MI May–August 2027.
• Unrestricted right to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assist with updating lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support material yield optimization to reduce waste.
• Contribute to quality and safety improvement initiatives.
• Participate in manufacturing process improvements on the production floor.
