Haworth, Inc. in Holland, MI is offering a paid Quality Engineering Internship onsite for a 12-week summer program. You’ll join a cohort of about 50 interns, work on meaningful projects, and engage in workshops on networking and AI tools in business.

As a Quality intern, you will support assembly-area projects, develop CREO/CAD skills, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gain real-world manufacturing insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• On-site May 2027 to August 2027, must be enrolled and eligible to work in the US.
• Unrestricted right to work in the US for internship eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist on projects in the Walls Plant assembly area, focusing on ignition dashboards.
• Utilize CREO/CAD skills and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Job Overview

We are currently looking for paid Quality Interns to join our team in Holland, MI. This position will be working onsite at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters.

You'll join a cohort of around 50 other dynamic interns for a 12-week program packed with meaningful projects and weekly learning opportunities. You’ll attend NeoCon, the largest commercial design event in the world, where you will get an insider's look at all the latest industry trends and innovations. Sharpen your skills with interactive workshops on networking, public speaking, and using AI tools in a business environment. Connect with mentors and see all areas of the office and manufacturing processes. Then unwind at intern-only social events where you can meet people from all corners of the business. As a Quality intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of exciting projects including: Working in the Assembly area of the Walls Plant focusing on the use of ignition dashboards utilize CREO/CAD skills

Required Qualifications

• Part‑time or full‑time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work On‑site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher
• Prior Haworth Experience
• Previous Employment Experience
• Extra‑Curricular Activity Experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
• Experience with CAD software
• Experience with MS Office
• Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications, and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
