Job summary

Babich & Associates in Fort Worth, TX seeks a hands-on Manufacturing/Process Engineer to develop, implement, and improve production processes. You will support production on the shop floor and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering and at least one year of experience, with proficiency in 3D CAD and reading drawings to optimize tooling, fixtures, and equipment on a 100% onsite basis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
1+ year hands-on manufacturing/process engineering experience.
Experience supporting production in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with 3D CAD; SolidWorks or similar software preferred.
Ability to read engineering drawings and use standard measuring equipment.
Experience with tooling, fixtures, assembly processes, or manufacturing equipment preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous-improvement skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing and assembly processes.
Provide hands-on engineering support to production.
Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot production and process issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
Develop work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing routings.
Support new equipment, process improvements, and new product introduction.
Work cross-functionally with production, quality, purchasing, and engineering.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and manufacturability.
