Job summary

Lozier is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our Omaha-based manufacturing team. You will act as a problem-solver and project manager, owning small to medium projects and driving process improvements on the shop floor.

You will develop economical, safe manufacturing methods, train colleagues on new processes and equipment, and coordinate corrective actions for production issues while collaborating with maintenance and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering; mechanical engineering preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of applicable engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and planning abilities; PC skills required.

Responsibilities

• Champion Lozier’s mission and oversee small to medium projects.
• Develop and maintain processes for safe, quality manufacturing.
• Create procedures and train teams on new processes and equipment.
• Coordinate corrective actions for production problems; consider alternate methods when needed.
