Job summary

You will perform preventive maintenance, install and retrofit equipment, read blueprints, and keep maintenance logs. Overtime and occasional off-shift work may be required; in-person position with a 40+ hour week.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and/or 10 years experience in the plastics equipment maintenance industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities and handle emergency repairs.
• Install new and retrofit equipment and machinery; test and validate operability.
• Follow safety regulations including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Communicate with production manager/supervisor about problems impacting equipment.
• Coordinate with Planning & Scheduling to ensure efficient repairs and optimal machine utilization.
• Remain on the floor to provide hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Generate maintenance logs and track metrics like OEE.
• Participate in daily shift meetings.
