Job summary

Arlington Properties is hiring a Maintenance Service Technician to keep apartments in great shape and ensure residents feel at home. You’ll fix HVACs, plumbing, electrical issues, paint units, and service appliances, while keeping common areas pristine and safe.

You’ll handle work orders with urgency, participate in preventative maintenance, and assist with snow removal and pool upkeep. Flexibility for on-call shifts and weekend hours is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a positive attitude.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks as needed.
• Stay on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
