Job summary

KASAI NORTH AMERICA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance on buildings and machines in a manufacturing environment. You will handle preventative maintenance, minor electrical tasks, basic carpentry, and upkeep of tools and equipment.

The role requires 1–2 years of on-the-job training, a High School Diploma or GED, and familiarity with reading sketches and prints. Prior knowledge of LOTO safety procedures is a plus, with a focus on quality and safe operation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years on-the-job training.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools used in electrical or mechanical areas.
• Ability to interface and work from sketches and prints.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on buildings and machines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on machines.
• Carry out minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician (e.g., bulbs, fuses).
• Assist in minor carpentry and related repair work.
• Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, and oiling.
