Job summary

KASAI NORTH AMERICA is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform skilled and semi-skilled repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment at our Alabama facility. You will ensure safety, upkeep, and efficient operation across multiple trades, with emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems.

The role requires ability to overhaul equipment, calibrate controls, and train others in proper repair procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years technical training or 2–3 years on-the-job HVAC experience.
• Pneumatic/Hydraulic and PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform major overhaul of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Repair production and non-production equipment.
• Calibrate electrical controls (hot runners, thermolators, barrel heaters).
• Set up and operate production equipment.
• Get utilities online for production startup (cooling towers, air compressors, dryers, oxidizer).
• Train other technicians in proper repair procedures.
• Generate paperwork to start order process for parts.
• Assist with group leader functions in absence.
