Job summary

Superior Essex Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role operates on a 12-hour staggered rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with upgrades and continuous improvement projects while adhering to strict

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Basic welding and fabrication experience
• Work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with minimal supervision
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Complete basic welding and fabrication repairs
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects
• Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE
• Document completed maintenance work
• Train and support new team members
• Perform other duties as assigned
