Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Apprentice to develop on-the-job skills in maintaining buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This role is part of Engineering and Technical Services and supports preventive maintenance and repairs across building systems. You will train with engineers, observe operations, assist with installations, and help verify compliance with codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma, GED, or be enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program or technical school.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Effective communication abilities are essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and curiosity are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive training from current engineers on safety and repair procedures.
• Observe engineers performing preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment and systems.
• Contribute to energy management by ensuring efficient operation of systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
