Job summary

Vista Host Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Support to help keep hotel facilities safe, comfortable, and operating smoothly. The role supports day-to-day maintenance needs and assists the maintenance team to uphold high hospitality standards.

The position involves responding to maintenance requests, performing basic repairs, and supporting housekeeping and guest services as needed to keep the property clean, functional, and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort performing maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies/equipment as needed.
• Good communication skills and a guest-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks (as assigned), including plumbing, electrical items, painting touch-ups, door/fixture adjustments, and general upkeep
• Respond to maintenance requests and document completed work according to property procedures
• Support preventative maintenance by helping with inspections and routine checks of common areas and equipment
• Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to address issues quickly and support guest satisfaction
• Follow safety guidelines and report hazards or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
