Job summary

Nehring Electrical Works Company seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the shop floor, sustain equipment and improve production processes at its DeKalb, Illinois facility.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and focuses on coordinating maintenance with operations and contractors, driving PMs, managing multiple projects, and pursuing safety and environmental improvements to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Associates or 2-year technical degree preferred; electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems, AutoCAD, Minitab, and MS Office (Excel).
• Familiarity with Limble CMMS and strong leadership/organizational skills.
• Spanish language ability a plus; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations team and outside contractors to schedule maintenance activities and manage/reduce machine downtime.
• Drive and improve preventative maintenance (PM) processes.
• Manage multiple projects with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and identify opportunities for Capex.
• Identify and implement actions to improve workplace safety and reduce environmental impact.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to achieve company commitments and goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
