Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Illinois to oversee maintenance operations, ensure equipment reliability, and minimize downtime. You will lead maintenance technicians in inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of facilities, machinery, and equipment, while complying with safety standards.

The role focuses on troubleshooting electrical/electronic and mechanical problems, coordinating with production, and managing spare parts inventories.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Assign work orders, monitor completion, and manage maintenance schedules.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation of machinery, systems, and facilities.
• Collaborate with production and external contractors as needed.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians and maintain records.
