Job summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor in Training in the Charlotte area. This hands-on role requires leadership potential to supervise a maintenance team across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general repairs, with on-site training alongside a supervisor and future transfer to another Charlotte community.

You will schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work, share on-call duties, and contribute to high occupancy and resident satisfaction through

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years trade related experience with at least 1 year in apartment maintenance lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance: electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry and general repairs.
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification (Type I/II or Universal) required.
• HVAC repair experience is required.
• Computer skills to manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies and email communication.
• Willing to share on-call duties with the team.
• Valid driver's license, transportation and tools required.
• DMV check and background/criminal check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of a service team to maintain property upkeep and repairs.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and related areas.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work; participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain high occupancy and rents through professional maintenance practices and strong customer focus.
