Job summary

Schwartz Brothers Bakery, part of Schwartz Brothers Restaurants, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor in Renton, WA. Lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment, balancing technical work with team leadership to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with production to prioritize daily needs while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within manufacturing or food production
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Welding/fabrication is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of maintenance technicians
• Plan and oversee preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively
• Prioritize daily maintenance needs in partnership with production
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards
• Support and maintain systems including electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Oversee boiler operations, safety checks, and routine maintenance
• Train team members and help build a strong, reliable maintenance team
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and equipment upgrade
