OSI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Chicago, IL to proactively maintain machinery and equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance. You will install, service, and troubleshoot with various hand tools, perform scheduled tasks, and ensure a clean, safe work environment while keeping accurate records.

The role requires basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, the ability to read technical drawings, and willingness to train. Overtime and total rewards benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience preferred or willingness to train.
• Mechanically inclined with basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Able to read and understand mechanical/technical drawings.
• Comfortable with computer and technology aptitude.
• Knowledge of gas/arc/TIG welding beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Assist to install and service equipment using hand tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Move and raise components using hoists, dollies, or provided equipment.
• Update daily work communications.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment; keep parts in order.
• Ensure clean, hazard-free work area and follow safety requirements.
• Follow maintenance manuals and SOPs; complete job records.
