Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Aurora, CO is seeking a strong Maintenance Manager with hands-on leadership to improve reliability and drive maintenance efficiency in a food manufacturing setting.

The role leads the maintenance team, manages labor and expenses, coordinates repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensures sanitary food production standards are met on schedule. A bachelor's degree is preferred with 5+ years in maintenance and 1–3 years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 5 years of experience in maintenance of production equipment.
• 1-3 years of supervisory/management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, services, and activities of a buildings' maintenance and production equipment repair program.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, terminology, equipment, and tools used in maintenance and repair of equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall reliability and availability of equipment and control of maintenance labor and expense budget within the plant.
• Manages and coordinates activities of employees engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, maintaining equipment, and fabricating metal parts and tools.
• Manages maintenance technician activities such as repairs, installation of all components of machinery, and facility structural maintenance.
• Ensures safe quality food is produced within a sanitary environment and established time schedules.
• Manage maintenance supervisors and oversee maintenance projects.
